You threw light in the path on which I was walking.

You listened to me carefully when I was talking.

You smiled when you saw me laughing.

Your eyes filled with pearls of water when I was crying.

You held my hands when I was left alone in the dark.

You came in my life and became the brightest star.

You followed me to the places that were far.

You let me sit beside you in your car.

You hummed the song I used to sing.

And the lovely days, you tried to bring.

At the times of sorrows you gave me your shoulder to sink.

In return for it, you never asked for a single thing.

You never did a thing that made me cry.

When I wanted to frown, you made me smile.

You never gave, teasing me, a try.

You provided me the wings to fly high.

Has our love changed with time?

You remember, living with each other was so sublime.

Dreaming about the future felt so fine.

Getting irate with other was so annoying.

What went wrong on our side?

I don’t have the clue about what was the strife.
